Cosmetic facial injectors are authorised registered health practitioners that prescribe and/or administer facial injections.

Cosmetic injectables are used to reduce facial wrinkles and lines. Two examples of cosmetic injectables are Botulinum toxin type A (‘Botox’) and dermal fillers. These types of injectables are schedule 4 prescription medicines.
