You can use our free and simple self-help tools for:
- pay rates – use our Pay and Conditions Tool (also used by our staff) to find pay rates, leave, notice and redundancy entitlements

What we help with
We can help you understand your workplace rights and responsibilities under the Fair Work Act and awards. This includes for issues like:

We also give advice on entitlements at work, like hours of work and final pay, for common awards and industries. This includes:

What we can't help with
There are some workplace issues we can't help with. Find out who to contact about:

Dealing with a workplace issue
Have an issue at work about pay, leave or ending employment? In most cases, the quickest and easiest way to resolve an issue is to raise it at a workplace level.
Once you have found relevant information or checked an entitlement, it's best to speak with your employer or employee directly to fix it.

If you still need help with a workplace issue, you can:
- call us on 13 13 94 between 8am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday to speak with a helpful adviser. They will provide you with tailored advice and information.
- contact us online through My account for general information and we'll respond within 10 business days. We know your time is valuable, so please make sure your enquiry is suitable for My account before submitting it.
- make an anonymous report with us (and not get involved directly).

Help in your language
If you don’t speak or understand English well, call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 131 450.
Tell them which language you speak and give them our phone number, 13 13 94. They will call us for you and interpret your question.
