Disability Support Services Sector Inquiry open forums

Find out about our open forums for the Disability Support Services Sector Inquiry.

About our open forums

Our open forums give you an opportunity as an employer, employee or client who uses disability support services to tell us about your workplace experiences within the sector. This will help us better understand the needs of the sector and the barriers to compliance so we can consider how best to overcome these obstacles.

Our group sessions allow a collaborative discussion about workplace relations experiences with our staff.

If you prefer a one-on-one conversation, we have ‘drop-in’ sessions so you can speak to our staff directly about your workplace relations experience in the sector.

You don't need to register to attend any session.

If you can't attend one of our open forums, you can still contribute to the inquiry by sending us an email. Find details on how to do this at How you can contribute.

What we can’t do at our open forums

The purpose of our open forums is to gather information for the inquiry. The inquiry relates to workplace relations experiences only.

Our staff at the event can't:

  • discuss topics that aren't related to workplace relations experiences, for example they won’t be able to discuss NDIS rules or workplace health and safety requirements
  • take individual requests for assistance or provide specific advice and assistance relating to workplace conditions.
