Gifts registry

This page provides information about any gifts, benefits and hospitality valued at over $100 (excluding GST) that have been accepted by the Fair Work Ombudsman or staff of the Fair Work Ombudsman.

From 1 June 2020, when our staff accept any gift or other benefit (including hospitality) worth more than $100, we'll add it to our Gift and benefits register.

We'll update the register every 3 months, or within 31 days of the gift or benefit being received.

Our staff haven't received any gifts or benefits (including hospitality) valued over $100 for the following periods:

  • 1 April 2023 – 30 June 2023
  • 1 January 2023 – 31 March 2023
  • 1 October 2022 – 31 December 2022
  • 1 July 2022 – 30 September 2022
  • 1 April 2022 – 30 June 2022
  • 1 January 2022 – 31 March 2022
  • 3 September 2021 – 31 December 2021*
  • 1 July 2021 – 30 September 2021
  • 1 April 2021 – 30 June 2021
  • 1 January 2021 – 31 March 2021
  • 1 October 2020 – 31 December 2020
  • 1 July 2020 – 30 September 2020
  • 1 January 2020 – 30 June 2020.

From 18 October 2019, when the Fair Work Ombudsman accepts any gift or other benefit (including hospitality) worth more than $100, in the course of their duties as Agency Head of the Office of the Fair Work Ombudsman, we'll add it to our Gift and benefits register as per Australian Public Service Commission guidelines.

We'll update the register every 3 months, or within 31 days of the gift or benefit being received.

The Fair Work Ombudsman, as Agency Head, has not received any gifts or benefits (including hospitality) valued over $100 for the following periods:

  • 1 January 2023 – 31 March 2023
  • 1 October 2022 – 31 December 2022
  • 1 July 2022 – 30 September 2022
  • 1 April 2022 – 30 June 2022

*Note: From 1 December 2021, changes to reporting obligations under the Australian Public Service Commission's Guidance for Agency Heads – Gifts and Benefits created an extended reporting timeframe for this register entry only. Following this entry, updates will cover a 3 month period and will be published quarterly by 30 April, 31 July, 30 October and 31 January, or within 31 days of the gift or benefit being received.
