Community Engagement Grants Program

Community organisations play an important role in providing assistance and services to vulnerable or disadvantaged members of the community.

Our Community Engagement Grants Program (the CEG Program) aims to support these organisations and assist them with providing advice and help to vulnerable people about workplace issues.

Organisations may be funded for a range of services, projects or programs of work that supplement our functions under the Fair Work Act.

Who is eligible for the CEG Program?

Not-for-profit community organisations are eligible to apply for a grant.

Applicants must be a legal entity with a current ABN, and be registered for GST purposes.

The following are ineligible to apply:

  • individuals or groups of individuals

  • unincorporated organisations

  • for profit or commercial organisations

  • Government departments and agencies (including local government)

  • Educational institutions.
