The CEG Program started on 1 January 2017 and ended on 30 June 2025. It provided funding to organisations undertaking a range of activities, projects or programs of work, which included:

• legal advice sessions
• community education
• telephone or face to face advisory services
• case work services.

All grant-funded activities involved the provision of professional advice, information or assistance to people within the federal workplace relations system about the operation of Commonwealth workplace laws, particularly the Fair Work Act 2009.

We received a high number of quality applications for both rounds of the grants.
