Casual minimum daily engagement under the Retail Award

The Fair Work Commission (the Commission) has made a decision 
clarifying casual employees’ minimum daily engagement under the Retail Award.
These changes apply on or after the first full pay period starting from 6 December 2021.

Minimum daily engagement
The Commission has clarified that the minimum daily engagement for a casual employee under the Retail Award is 3 hours, or 1.5 hours in certain circumstances set out in the award.
