Based on what you've told us, it looks like you're covered by the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010 [MA000009].
RDOs can be either paid or unpaid days off.
Full-time employees who work a 38 hour week can accumulate 1 paid RDO during a roster period up to 4 weeks, if the employer agrees to it. They are entitled to accumulate a maximum of 5 days off.
Employees can’t work for more than 10 days in a row without an RDO. The RDO has to be taken next to an employee’s normal days off, where possible.
An employer and employee can agree to take RDOs off in part day amounts.
Check the Hospitality Award for full information on RDOs.
