Loaded rates added to Hospitality Award

On 3 September 2021, the Fair Work Commission made a decision external-icon.png that added loaded rate arrangements to the Hospitality Award.

Loaded rate arrangements

The new Schedule K – Loaded Rate Arrangements:

  • allows an employer to pay a full-time employee at level 3 or above a loaded rate (with specific rules and conditions applying)
  • has loaded rates to replace some Hospitality Award provisions.

The new Schedule L contains a loaded rate arrangement form for use by employers and employees.

The new schedules apply on or after the first pay period commencing 3 September 2021.
