Retail qualifications

The Retail Award covers a broad range of occupations such as butchers, bakers, florists and pharmacy assistants. These occupations may require the completion of a formal apprenticeship or traineeship. Below is a list of common apprenticeships and traineeships in the retail industry.

Whether the certificate is an apprenticeship or a traineeship will depend upon the state or territory that your business is operating in. There may be number of other training schemes available in the retail industry. For more information on other training schemes, contact the education or training authority in your state.
