Hair and Beauty qualifications

The Hair and Beauty Award covers a range of occupations such as hairdressers, beauticians and beauty therapists. These occupations may require the completion of a formal apprenticeship or traineeship. Below is a list of common apprenticeships and traineeships in the hair and beauty industry.

There may be a number of other training schemes available in the hair and beauty industry. For more information on other training schemes, contact the education or training authority in your state.

Beauty Therapy Certificate III in Beauty Services Hair and Beauty Employee Level 3
Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy Hair and Beauty Employee Level 4
Diploma in Beauty Therapy Hair and Beauty Employee Level 6
Hairdressing Certificate III in Hairdressing Hair and Beauty Employee Level 3
Certificate IV in Hairdressing Hair and Beauty Employee Level 5
