How do I search with Award Finder?

There are a number of ways you can search for your award using Award Finder. You can search:

By code

If you know the award code, you can enter it directly to Award Finder, e.g. the award code for the Clerks - Private Sector Award 2010 is MA000002.

By title

You can enter the full title of the award or you can search for key words. You’ll also need to select the State or Territory where the work is ordinarily performed. If you know the type of award you’re looking for, you can narrow your search by selecting the award type.

By industry

If you’re not sure of the code or title you can search by the type of work or the industry of the award. You’ll need to select the State or Territory, and if you know the award type you can select that too.

By modern award

If you’re looking for your modern award, you can also find it by browsing through a list. You can view the 20 most popular, or the full list of all modern awards.

Alternatively, you can type in a keyword for your occupation, and then select it from our list.
If you know the name of your modern award, you can also search by title.

Once Award Finder has found your award, you can select ‘view’ to access a copy of the award or the Pay and Conditions Guide.

Award Finder helps you to identify your awards based on the details you provide. If you have not provided the right information, or there are changes in your circumstances, it may affect your award coverage.
